North is a person who used to be an outlaw and swordsman and now he finds himself helping Ombric, Katherine and the people of Santoff Claussen in their fight against Pitch, the Nightmare King.
The people of Santoff Claussen are taught by Ombric. He is a wizard who created Santoff Claussen. Ombric can speak to his owls through his mind and he taught the people of Santoff Claussen how to speak a few insect languages.
I loved the book because it was very interesting and entertaining. There are some pictures in the book but the good thing about that is that it helped me to understand the book better.
I would not recommend this book to kg.-gr.3, because it does have some hard words. Other than that the book is great. I hope you read this book and enjoy it.
Tip: The beginning has a lot of description but the middle and ending is really interesting.

I love to read big nate. He is always getting in to tuns and tuns of trubble his enemy Gina is always messing stuff up. Eery time Nate is about to accomplish something Gina always somehow messes things up. there are also outher book series I read such as Bone, and the magic tree house. don't for get you can get those books in our school libary. O and you can go read those books at first and last recess in the libary.

Big Nate always thinks he's number one, and in this book he proves that! He loses his skateboard in a weird accident, then misses a scout meeting. He always gets in detention, and that's why all that happened. But he makes his OWN problems, but he blames it on one of his enemies. But then, the scouts have a contest to see who can sell the most posters/warm fuzzies. And the top prize is a customizable skateboard! Nate is determined to get it. Will he get it? Will he sell enough "warm fuzzies"? Or will it be way harder than he thought?

My favourite book is Makenzie Blue it is very interesting and unpredictable when you read it. This is like a mystery book. Makenzie Blue is in high school and always wanted to be a super star when she grows up. During high school she meets new friends and has company when her best friend moves very far away. Then she investigates who stole her diary and sends her creepy messages while she gets humiliated in front of the whole class. But by a chance she could accomplish her dream by being a superstar. One of the books I read was Thea Stilton and the Journey To The Lion's Den. This book is very mysterious. The sisters go travel all the way to Kenya for a school project. When they get to Kenya they meet a new friend Malik who works in a reserve they are visiting. They visit animals like elephants, giraffes, baboons and zebras. In the reserve a new baby lion cub is born. But then he gets hurt by someone and gets kidnaped by them. Later on in the reserve some other mouse wants to turn Malik's soccer field in to a resort when Malik's little brother gets sad when he wants to be a soccer player when he grows up. My favourite part is when the figure out who captured the lion cub. I like this book because it is very interesting and it takes a lot of interesting clues for the investigation. Find out who stole the lion cub and if Malik's little brother got his soccer field back in Thea Stilton and the Journey To The Lions Den.
This book is Lulu by Kyla May. Lulu writes in her diary everything to tell you her GLAMOROUS life. This book will make you happy. Lulu is from France her family moved to a street called Lotus Lane. She meets a group of friends and they always stick together. They make a club called Lotus Lane Girls Club (LLGC). They have fun activities like Scrapbooking, Makeovers, Pajama Party's and sometimes they bake cupcakes. Lulu is entering for a contest of her favourite movie and could win to be on the red carpet. One of my favourite books is Dork diaries tales from a not so happy heart breaker. This book is all about a girl named Nikki who has a crush on a boy named Brandon. But she's not the only one that likes him, her enemy Makenzie likes Brandon to. There's this dance and Nikki wants Brandon to ask her to go to the dance, and Makenzie wants that to. Here's the twist Brandon throws a party and after the party his phone is missing. So Nikki text's Brandon's phone and ask him to meet her at the library, but he doesn't show up. The book I started reading was Squish by Jennifer L. Holm. Did you know in a pond is a ....... AMOEBA? It is a creature made of a single cell. He meets a bully in detention then stands up for his friend. The bully does bad things to him like cheating on Squish's test. Oh no! What else is the bully going to do? One of my favourite books I read was Thea Stilton: The Journey To Atlantis. This book is very adventurous. One of the Thea Sisters named Paulina was running along the beach when she saw a blue skinned man washed up on shore. He speaks a unfamiliar language so the sisters call Thea for help. They figure out that the boy is from Atlantis all the way down in the ocean. So the sisters go all the way to argentina for clues to get the blue skinned boy home. But as the sisters travel someone has been following them and setting up traps to capture the boy. Could the boy be from Atlantis? Who has been following the sisters? A AWSOME book I read was Smile by Raina Telgemeire. This is a comic book also based in a true story. After Raina goes to her girl scout she races her friend home and she trips, falls then her.............. TWO front TEETH come out. She goes to the dentist and has surgery for her teeth. Since her teeth are broken she has to get fake ones. Now she has to keep her braces on and keep them off. But on top all of that there is a earthquake in her city and all the lights are off. Also during high school her two friends embarrassed her in front of the whole school. Read her frustrating journey in Smile.

This comic book I read was Drama by Raina Telgemeire. Calie loves THEATER so she tried out for their school production Moon Over Mississippi. But since she can't sing she is a designer for the department stage crew on set. This year she is worthy to create a set of BRODWAY for the middle school budget. But how does she do all of these things if she doesn't know anything about carpentry? When there is a problem about the tickets because the sales are down. The English Roses is one of the fabulous books I read. There a group of friends that have fun together and are called the English Roses. The girls go to school and are always jelous about a girl because everyone is always admiring her and that she is beautiful and she has beautiful long blond hair. They would ignore her when she would pass by. But when they have a sleepover party her mom talk's to them about letting the girl join in. That night all the English Roses had the same dream how the girl was always washing the dishes, throwing out the garbage, and acting like a maid everyday. Will they let the girl join? Thea Stilton: The Mystery on the Orient Express is one of the mysterious books I read. Thea was in Turkey and was suppost to go on the Orient Express but since she was stuck in the middle of a snowstorm she couldn't go so she let the Thea Sisters go instead. The students go on a trip on a train from Paris to Istanbul. They stay there on the train and sleepover night. The train was meant to return a precious wedding gown that was stolen from a museum. As they are in the train the famous ballerina also joins the trip. But then a lot of weird things happen during the trip. You should read Thea Stilton and The Dancing Shadows. The Thea Sisters are very good BALLET dancers and are sent to a dance competition in Italy to represent Mouseford Academy. But as the group of friends explore Italy a mysterious man has been following them. Also someone has secretly plotting about a dance group so they could win. One of the comic books I read was Camp Babymouse. Babymouse always wanted to go to camp wild whiskers and she always dreamed that she would save the day if anybody got hurt. In camp they worked in group teams and they would get points if they won the activities they were doing. The highest points at the end of the first week would win CAMP WILD WHISKERS CUP!!! But when they check the observatory it says it is not going to erupt. What also happens is that someone stole Coletts costume. Will they bring Hawaii in danger? For instance, when Dave first arrives at the orphanage it feels as if you are the one just getting to know the place! And the characters, also, are very interesting. Most of the boys are nice right from the start and others don't feel the same way about Dave. If you have read Ella Enchanted or The Princess Test By : Gail Carson Levine then this is the book for you.
When you read this book you can go places you have never imagined. That's why I recommend this to all boys and girls.
The book The Fighting Ground is about a boy who isn?t supposed to fight in a battle. His father doesn?t want him to go fight in battle because his brother is in battle and they haven?t heard from him in a while. They think that his brother might be dead. Instead of listening to his father he goes with all the men and they give him a gun and he goes and fights. They loaded their guns and waited for the Hessians. They saw the Hessians and they all ran but Jonathan didn?t know they ran and he was there alone and then he got captured. Jonathan has to try to escape or the Hessians will kill him. Jonathan escapes while the Hessians were sleeping and he found his way home through the woods and trails. Jonathan?s parents had thought that he died so when Jonathan got home his parents were so happy. I liked this book because it was exciting. The boy was thirteen years old and he?s fighting in a battle and he gets captured by the Hessians and he needs to escape from them. I also thought it was scary when the boy was captured. The best part was when the boy came home to his family and they did not expect him to.
I recommend this book for other people to read because it is an exciting book. Who ever likes to read about wars and battles should read this book. Also im not sure if its in the library because i got the book from my friend!
The book that I read is the worst gymnast, by Thalia Kalkipsakis. Gemma loves gymnastics. But she has the worst class ever, and her coach it not happy with her. The book I borrowed from the OUR LADY OF FATIMA school library was Squish: The Power Of The Parasite #3. School is over and Summer has begun. Squish is finally having a break from school. Mummies and Pyramids by Mary Pope Osborne and Will Osborne
This book is a companion to Mummies in the Morning by Mary Pope Osborne. I find this book really interesting because it has a lot of cool facts about mummies, pyramids and ancient Egypt for example: Horus (HOR-us) was a falcon headed god. Egyptians believed that their Pharaoh was Horus in human form. It also has other cool facts about Egyptian gods and goddesses.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in ancient Egypt or who likes the Magic Tree house series.
The book that entertained me was Babymouse: Queen of the World. She would always imagines to be queen you know a tiara, straight whiskers, no homework and ice-cream for lunch! Babymouse is the least popular kid in school. She gets made fun of her messy whiskers and always gets in trouble in school. Good thing she has a best friend to stick with WILSON. THIS BOOK IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!! ^0^ it was so good and it was written by Emma Clayton who I'm pretty sure is the best author ever! The name of the book I read was called the roar and had four hundred pages but I think she should of made it at least two hundred pages more but it was the best book even though it just kind of ended in the middle of nowhere but I think she did that so that you have to buy the next one.

Nicholas St. North is an adventure book and the first book in the Guardian series.
North is a person who used to be an outlaw and swordsman and now he finds himself helping Ombric, Katherine and the people of Santoff Claussen in their fight against Pitch, the Nightmare King.
The people of Santoff Claussen are taught by Ombric. He is a wizard who created Santoff Claussen. Ombric can speak to his owls through his mind and he taught the people of Santoff Claussen how to speak a few insect languages.
I loved the book because it was very interesting and entertaining. There are some pictures in the book but the good thing about that is that it helped me to understand the book better.
I would not recommend this book to kg.-gr.3, because it does have some hard words. Other than that the book is great. I hope you read this book and enjoy it.
Tip: The beginning has a lot of description but the middle and ending is really interesting.

Eery time Nate is about to accomplish something Gina always somehow messes things up. there are also outher book series I read such as Bone, and the magic tree house. don't for get you can get those books in our school libary. O and you can go read those books at first and last recess in the libary.

He always gets in detention, and that's why all that happened. But he makes his OWN problems, but he blames it on one of his enemies. But then, the scouts have a contest to see who can sell the most posters/warm fuzzies. And the top prize is a customizable skateboard! Nate is determined to get it.

DeleteMy favourite book is Makenzie Blue it is very interesting and unpredictable when you read it. This is like a mystery book. Makenzie Blue is in high school and always wanted to be a super star when she grows up. During high school she meets new friends and has company when her best friend moves very far away. Then she investigates who stole her diary and sends her creepy messages while she gets humiliated in front of the whole class. But by a chance she could accomplish her dream by being a superstar. I like this book because it is very exciting and you do not know what is going to happen next. Find out who stole her diary and if she became a rockstar in Makenzie Blue.

The book I'm reading right know is called the chronicles of avantia First hero, there is another one called betrayal but today I would be talking about First Hero. This book is about a teenage boy called Tanner that lived a normal teenage life but than one day he meets a mythical creature, a phoenix, who's name is firepos. ReplyDeleteOne of the books I read was Thea Stilton and the Journey To The Lion's Den. This book is very mysterious. The sisters go travel all the way to Kenya for a school project. When they get to Kenya they meet a new friend Malik who works in a reserve they are visiting. They visit animals like elephants, giraffes, baboons and zebras. In the reserve a new baby lion cub is born. But then he gets hurt by someone and gets kidnaped by them. Later on in the reserve some other mouse wants to turn Malik's soccer field in to a resort when Malik's little brother gets sad when he wants to be a soccer player when he grows up. My favourite part is when the figure out who captured the lion cub. I like this book because it is very interesting and it takes a lot of interesting clues for the investigation. Find out who stole the lion cub and if Malik's little brother got his soccer field back in Thea Stilton and the Journey To The Lions Den.

Lulu is from France her family moved to a street called Lotus Lane. She meets a group of friends and they always stick together. They make a club called Lotus Lane Girls Club (LLGC). They have fun activities like Scrapbooking, Makeovers, Pajama Party's and sometimes they bake cupcakes. Lulu is entering for a contest of her favourite movie and could win to be on the red carpet. While she is in the contest her mean friend also joins in. My favourite part is when she performes in the contest because I wonder if she wins. Find out if Lulu wins her contest in Lulu by Kyla May.

One of my favourite books is Dork diaries tales from a not so happy heart breaker. This book is all about a girl named Nikki who has a crush on a boy named Brandon. But she's not the only one that likes him, her enemy Makenzie likes Brandon to. There's this dance and Nikki wants Brandon to ask her to go to the dance, and Makenzie wants that to. Here's the twist Brandon throws a party and after the party his phone is missing. So Nikki text's Brandon's phone and ask him to meet her at the library, but he doesn't show up. He meets a bully in detention then stands up for his friend. The bully does bad things to him like cheating on Squish's test. Oh no! What else is the bully going to do? DeleteOne of my favourite books I read was Thea Stilton: The Journey To Atlantis. This book is very adventurous. One of the Thea Sisters named Paulina was running along the beach when she saw a blue skinned man washed up on shore. He speaks a unfamiliar language so the sisters call Thea for help. They figure out that the boy is from Atlantis all the way down in the ocean. So the sisters go all the way to argentina for clues to get the blue skinned boy home. But as the sisters travel someone has been following them and setting up traps to capture the boy. Could the boy be from Atlantis? Who has been following the sisters? After Raina goes to her girl scout she races her friend home and she trips, falls then her.............. TWO front TEETH come out. She goes to the dentist and has surgery for her teeth. Since her teeth are broken she has to get fake ones. Now she has to keep her braces on and keep them off. But on top all of that there is a earthquake in her city and all the lights are off. Also during high school her two friends embarrassed her in front of the whole school. Read her frustrating journey in Smile.

But since she can't sing she is a designer for the department stage crew on set. This year she is worthy to create a set of BRODWAY for the middle school budget. But how does she do all of these things if she doesn't know anything about carpentry? When there is a problem about the tickets because the sales are down. The English Roses is one of the fabulous books I read. There a group of friends that have fun together and are called the English Roses. The girls go to school and are always jelous about a girl because everyone is always admiring her and that she is beautiful and she has beautiful long blond hair. They would ignore her when she would pass by. But when they have a sleepover party her mom talk's to them about letting the girl join in. That night all the English Roses had the same dream how the girl was always washing the dishes, throwing out the garbage, and acting like a maid everyday. Will they let the girl join? Thea was in Turkey and was suppost to go on the Orient Express but since she was stuck in the middle of a snowstorm she couldn't go so she let the Thea Sisters go instead. The students go on a trip on a train from Paris to Istanbul. They stay there on the train and sleepover night. The train was meant to return a precious wedding gown that was stolen from a museum. As they are in the train the famous ballerina also joins the trip. But then a lot of weird things happen during the trip. There are judges from all over the world to judge students from different Academy's. When they arrive in Italy they meet friends Pyotr, Vasily and Carlotta who has been bullied from another group. But as the group of friends explore Italy a mysterious man has been following them. Also someone has secretly plotting about a dance group so they could win. DeleteOne of the comic books I read was Camp Babymouse. Babymouse always wanted to go to camp wild whiskers and she always dreamed that she would save the day if anybody got hurt. In camp they worked in group teams and they would get points if they won the activities they were doing. The highest points at the end of the first week would win CAMP WILD WHISKERS CUP!!! Or else the one with the least points will have DISH DUTY!!! Yuck! But Babymouse was bad in all of those activities. Will Babymouse's team win? Find out in CAMP BABYMOUSE!!!

DeleteThea Stilton: Legend of the Fire Flowers was one of the finished books I was reading. The Thea Sisters go to a Hawaii international hula festival. But then the Ruby crew (the mean girls) also join in and be mean to the sisters. When they get a call from their professor that a volcano is going to erupt. But when they check the observatory it says it is not going to erupt. What also happens is that someone stole Coletts costume. Will they bring Hawaii in danger? I liked this book because it is funny and adventurous.

His mother was dead and his father had just died. And he had no place to go. Yet he end up at an orphanage for boys. Will he like it or will it be a nightmare?
I think this book is very unique, because the author makes it feel as if you are Dave. For instance, when Dave first arrives at the orphanage it feels as if you are the one just getting to know the place! And the characters, also, are very interesting. Most of the boys are nice right from the start and others don't feel the same way about Dave. If you have read Ella Enchanted or The Princess Test By : Gail Carson Levine then this is the book for you.
When you read this book you can go places you have never imagined. That's why I recommend this to all boys and girls.

His father doesn?t want him to go fight in battle because his brother is in battle and they haven?t heard from him in a while. They think that his brother might be dead. Instead of listening to his father he goes with all the men and they give him a gun and he goes and fights. They loaded their guns and waited for the Hessians. They saw the Hessians and they all ran but Jonathan didn?t know they ran and he was there alone and then he got captured. Jonathan has to try to escape or the Hessians will kill him. Jonathan escapes while the Hessians were sleeping and he found his way home through the woods and trails. Jonathan?s parents had thought that he died so when Jonathan got home his parents were so happy.
I liked this book because it was exciting. The boy was thirteen years old and he?s fighting in a battle and he gets captured by the Hessians and he needs to escape from them. I also thought it was scary when the boy was captured. The best part was when the boy came home to his family and they did not expect him to.
I recommend this book for other people to read because it is an exciting book. Who ever likes to read about wars and battles should read this book. Also im not sure if its in the library because i got the book from my friend!

I find this book really interesting because it has a lot of cool facts about mummies, pyramids and ancient Egypt for example: Horus (HOR-us) was a falcon headed god. Egyptians believed that their Pharaoh was Horus in human form. It also has other cool facts about Egyptian gods and goddesses.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in ancient Egypt or who likes the Magic Tree house series.
The book that entertained me was Babymouse: Queen of the World. She would always imagines to be queen you know a tiara, straight whiskers, no homework and ice-cream for lunch! Babymouse is the least popular kid in school. She gets made fun of her messy whiskers and always gets in trouble in school. Good thing she has a best friend to stick with WILSON. ReplyDeleteTHIS BOOK IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!! ^0^ it was so good and it was written by Emma Clayton who I'm pretty sure is the best author ever! The name of the book I read was called the roar and had four hundred pages but I think she should of made it at least two hundred pages more but it was the best book even though it just kind of ended in the middle of nowhere but I think she did that so that you have to buy the next one.
